Letter from the President

Welcome to the Pennsylvania Society of Washington, D.C. I am honored to serve as the Society’s current President, and I invite you to join as a Member.

The Society is a non-profit, non-partisan organization open to anyone with an interest in the Keystone State. Our activities are managed by a volunteer Board of Directors, assisted by the generous financial support of our individual and corporate members. With more than 500 members, we gather several times a year to celebrate our history, businesses, sports teams and even our politicians.

I was raised in Lancaster, PA, and spent the first 14 years of my time in Washington, D.C. working for a Pennsylvania Member of Congress. I never cease to be amazed at the number of Pennsylvanians who live and work in a variety of professions throughout the Washington metropolitan area.

We have an active membership that includes many Congressional staff from the Pennsylvania delegation, as well as other Pennsylvanians serving in federal agencies, the military, the business community and the non-profit sector. The Society serves as an excellent networking vehicle for making new acquaintances and spending quality time with old friends.

On behalf of our Board of Directors, I invite you to attend our events and become more involved with the Pennsylvania Society. I also look forward to hearing from you about how we can improve our events and involve the Society in other beneficial activities. Please join us to learn about our upcoming events!
